De-Clutter Your E-mail and Take Back

Your Life!

The E-mail Avalanche

Yesterday, I was talking to one of my private Diamond clients who was experiencing a major block to her success due to getting  tangled up in e-mails.

I think it’s safe to say we’ve all experienced this.  You plan on sending a quick e-mail and then you see that you have an avalanche of 124 new e-mails.   So, you find yourself going through the endless list and clicking on a few links because it could be something that will help you in the future.  Next thing you know….. over an hour  has been robbed from your precious day.

What can you do?

Action for today – Unsubscribe from all those sites sending you the latest movies, recipes, etc.

If you need that information, you’ll be able to find it quickly by using Google (what did we do before Google?)

  1. I’ve unsubscribed from several subscriptions. I’ve found this to be quite helpful.

What has really helped is changing my e-mail preferences from answer e-mail every 10 minutes to manually.

I was going to switch preferences to check for new mail every hour but then I saw the manual option and thought “now that will really give me my power back”. And, if I did miss anything, I can always switch it back to auto-check.

Now I manually check for my new e-mail twice a day. I have not missed anything important. And wow, I love, love, love the new sense of peace I have in my life. I’m getting so many other, more important and more rewarding, things in my life accomplished.

    Goodbye e-mail clutter!!! Woohoo!
