Your Life!

The E-mail Avalanche

Yesterday, I was talking to one of my private Diamond clients who was experiencing a major block to her success due to getting  tangled up in e-mails.

I think it’s safe to say we’ve all experienced this.  You plan on sending a quick e-mail and then you see that you have an avalanche of 124 new e-mails.   So, you find yourself going through the endless list and clicking on a few links because it could be something that will help you in the future.  Next thing you know….. over an hour  has been robbed from your precious day.

What can you do?

Action for today – Unsubscribe from all those sites sending you the latest movies, recipes, etc.

If you need that information, you’ll be able to find it quickly by using Google (what did we do before Google?)

Is Your Life What You Want It To Be?

Couple Walking Together on the Beach 300x219 Is Your Life What You Want It To Be?

Are you living the life you want?

Last time, I talked about creating your own security.  Summed up this means creating the life you want, right?  Right!  So here are a few tips to creating a fun lifestyle with the security and inner peace you desire.

In hustle and bustle of today’s world it’s easy to get caught up in all the to-do’s and push our own needs aside.  Even when you have a wonderful career and family you love, the demands can become overwhelming.  This takes a tole on everything – your marriage, family, children, relationships with friends and co-workers, and of course yourself.

The holidays add extra “to-do’s” to our already bursting at the seems schedule.
Here are a few tips to help you keep balance in your life during the holidays, and all year long.

1.  Fire your to-do list!  Yes, fire it, get rid of it.  Instead, you want to use a system that helps you get rid of the multi-tasking trauma and organizes your day for one thing at a time.  (the Yes I Can With A Plan! Daily Success System is designed to do exactly this for you.  And I’m having a Year End Blow Out Sale – post your comment to this blog and I’ll send you the details to save major moola.  You may also e-mail me at lisa@yesicanwithaplan.com

2.  Work in a focused manner, instead of jumping from one idea and task to the next and ending the day with a bunch of unfinished projects.  This leaves you feeling exhausted and defeated at the end of your day.

3.  Give each task a start and stop time, this ensures you’ll stay focused and on task for that duration of time.

4.  Take “me breaks” and allow yourself to rejuvenate.

Personal Note from Lisa Long

I’m sitting in my home office enjoying the sunshine. It’s been raining in Sedona for two weeks straight. We’ve had some flooding and a lot of thunder and lightening.

Mona under bed 300x226 Personal Note from Lisa LongI find it so adorable that my cat, Mona runs under the bed and hides during the thunderstorms. Then she peeks her head out to see if it’s really safe and the sky is not going to come crashing down on her.

This reminds me of how it feels to be an entrepreneur, especially in the start up phase. It’s as scary as the thunder, lightening and wind. It’s a fear storm that we either muster through or give up and go back to perceivedsafety… under the bed, so to speak.

If you’re feeling like you’re in the struggle between “going for it” or hiding under the bed, Yes I Can With A Plan! has specific tools, teaching and support to help you “go for it” and feel safe and secure during your journey to success.

To your success,

Lisa Long
