It’s Feeding Time

Which wolf are you feeding? Are you feeding the wolf taking you closer to your goals, or are you feeding the wolf taking you away from your goals?

Want to know which one you have been feeding? Take a look at your current results. Results don’t lie.

It’s very important to know that your current results are not a reflection of your potential. Your current results are nothing more then a reflection of your previous thinking. Your potential is truly limitless. It’s your mind that limits you.

The good news is you can change your mindset and change your results.

If you change what’s going on internally, your thoughts, you will automatically change what’s gong on externally, your results.

You do have 100% control over your thinking!

This may be a new concept so let me explain and I’ll give you some tools to help you choose your thoughts and get the results YOU WANT.

We have five senses: See, hear, taste, touch and smell. And we have been taught to take in the majority of information about our environment from these five senses. These senses are hardwired into our conscious mind like little antenna.

We don’t have to tell our senses to pay attention because they are constantly bombarded with information from the internet, phone, cell phone, television, newspapers, advertising… and all the conversations around us.

Juggling all these thoughts is like being in the middle of a six-lane highway. We have become so reactive to our environment that when someone gives us a compliment we feel good. And yet, in the next moment if someone criticizes us or puts us down we can instantly feel bad.

We’re on an emotional rollercoaster; one minute we’re feeling up and the next minute we’re feeling down.

How do you choose your thoughts to support you in achieving your goals?

First, be very careful whom you talk to.

Do not ask your friends, neighbors, co-workers or anyone who is not living, breathing and achieving the results in their life that you are wanting in your life.

Second, do not listen to those complaining about how bad the economy is, how corrupt the politicians are, or how horrible life is.

Third, stay in action toward your goal. Each and every day do something positive toward your goal.

Fourth, learn to focus your mind. Meditation, yoga, breath work, running, hiking are all good ways to let go of the busyness and give your mind a break. These are just suggestions. Do something you enjoy that you find relaxing and nourishing.

Fifth, become aware of reacting to your environment. Do you jump every time the phone rings or the e-mail ding goes off? React less and choose your actions more often.

In practicing these five steps each day, you will have more creativity, focus, peace, energy… and abundance.
